“WOMEN IN PORTRAITS” – “RITRATTI AL FEMMINILE” – Photo Exhibition

“Woman is the future of man.”

Differently from what sustains the poet Aragon, wisdom requires to recognize that, in the dawn of the third millennium, the saying “weaker sex” has become true for humans and is one of the weakest values of Western society.
Breaking away from the eternal clichés they see in you, the only aspects of grace, elegance, and the main power to give birth, the woman never ends to surprise, revealing the unthinkable skills, developing of untold capabilities.
The modern woman dares and convinces, appropriating a role in fallocratica culture centuries had been disqualified.
A fantastic and interesting evolution of which, the goal of Graziano Villa, after twenty years, wants to give a testimony.
privileged observer of this situation, the Genoese photographer, makes a tribute to the woman and her essence. His photographs describe a changing world, capturing natural grace and tell the new development of women. Some famous women, other more anonymous, one day or the other will gain power, shine as a manager, discover opinion leaders, to excel in the arts and culture, all united by the same desire to do that, both their ability and their talent, the word “woman”.
Thirty “to FEMALE PORTRAITS”, is the theme of the exhibition of Villa Graziano, of which the author wants to make the mirror of the challenge is always between the photographer and his people photographed.
It ‘a challenge to which we have given willingly, Margherita Agnelli, Ella Fitzgerald, Carol Alt, Melba Ruffo di Calabria, Isabella Bossi Fedrigotti, Jetsum Pema sister of the Dalai Lama and many others from the world of entertainment, politics, culture and industry.
Photos taken with different techniques: moving, posing, snapshots or moments chosen with almost surgical care, where the talent of Graziano Villa becomes the bearer of the quotation by Bernard Henri Levy:
